Create woodcut effects

The Woodcut filter is one of the surface control effects available in Painter 7. This effect creates woodcut or linoleum block print effects on images.

What you will learn

In this tutorial, you will learn how to

• create a layer copy of the original image
• apply the color output woodcut effect to the canvas
• apply the black output woodcut effect to Layer 1
• view the color and black output simultaneously
• create a registration-shift effect
